Families and mixed groups who want wide, groomed runs through the forest, a quiet and elegant village, and the Brenta Dolomites, part of the Dolomites UNESCO World Heritage site (SkiArea Campiglio), in view from almost every lift.

Strong skiers have the Canalone Miramonti, the slope of the 3Tre World Cup night slalom, and the high, open runs of the Grostè (Campiglio Dolomiti). For a family with mixed levels we book private instruction by level, so a first timer learns on easy ground while the rest of the group skis further, and everyone meets again for lunch at a mountain hut.

Campiglio skis across five sectors, Cinque Laghi, Pradalago, Spinale, Grostè and Miramonti, with 62 km of runs of its own (SkiArea Campiglio). On skis it links to Folgarida Marilleva in Val di Sole, and by the Pinzolo Campiglio Express, 16 minutes, to Pinzolo (Visit Trentino): 155 km and 58 lifts in all (SkiArea Campiglio).

The wider Skirama Dolomiti pass reaches eight ski areas, 380 km and 150 lifts on one ticket (Campiglio Dolomiti). If you hold an Epic Pass, it includes seven consecutive days at Skirama Dolomiti; bring the physical card and a photo ID to the ticket office (Epic Pass).

The season runs from November to April (Campiglio Dolomiti), and the 2026/27 dates have not been announced yet. Last winter the Grostè opened first, on November 22, 2025, the rest of Campiglio on November 28 and Pinzolo and Folgarida Marilleva on December 4 (SkiArea Campiglio).

On the busiest days the resort now limits crowds. In 2025/26 the Numero Ideale capped daily ticket sales so that 14,000 to 15,000 skiers were on the slopes at peak hours over New Year and Carnival week, while season passes and passes of two days or more were not limited (SkiArea Campiglio). The 2026/27 rules have not been announced; a multi day pass booked ahead keeps the group clear of it either way.

January and March outside the holiday weeks are the calmer choice. Christmas, New Year and February fill first, so for those dates we book the instructor before anything else.

The closest airports are Bolzano, 105 km away, Brescia, 125 km, Verona, 165 km, and Bergamo, 175 km; Milan Linate is 205 km and Venice 290 km (Campiglio Dolomiti). From Milan, Verona or Venice the drive takes between two and three hours (Epic Pass).

In the village, close to the lift you will use most: the gondolas to Spinale, Pradalago and Cinque Laghi all start from Campiglio itself (SkiArea Campiglio). Pinzolo, down the valley, is quieter and links up by the Pinzolo Campiglio Express.
