A hotel that looks identical online can mean a five-minute walk in ski boots or a shuttle at both ends of the day. We keep the portfolio small on purpose: every property in it is one we have slept in, and we can tell you which rooms face the mountain.

Every hotel and chalet we recommend, we have stayed in. We keep a live portfolio of properties across all three regions — from the Llao Llao Hotel & Resort on the shores of Lake Nahuel Huapi to ski-in, ski-out suites at The Little Nell in Aspen. No guesswork, no online reviews.

    Where you want to be at nine in the morning decides the base, not the other way round.

    We shortlist, you choose

    Two or three properties with the honest trade-offs, not a catalogue of twenty.

Do you book private chalets as well as hotels?

Yes, including chalets with dedicated staff. For larger groups a chalet often works out better than several hotel rooms.

Can we stay somewhere that is not in your portfolio?

We can book it, and we will say plainly whether we know the property or not. What we will not do is recommend it as if we did.
