Lech Zürs ski holidays

Families and mixed groups who want space, groomed runs and deep snow within reach. Ski Arlberg counts 129 km of blue runs, 121 km of red and 50 km of black (Lech Zürs), and Lech Zürs has kids' areas with moving carpets, a fun slope and a family park (Ski Arlberg).

Strong skiers have more than 200 km of powder descents across the Arlberg (Ski Arlberg), and heliskiing departs from the Kriegerhorn above Oberlech and from the Flexen Pass (Lech Zürs).

On skis. Since the 2016/17 season the Flexenbahn has linked Zürs with Stuben (Flexenbahn), so Lech, Oberlech and Zürs share one lift network and one pass with St. Anton, St. Christoph, Stuben and Warth Schröcken (Ski Arlberg).

Closer to home, the White Ring is a 22 km circuit that takes a confident skier around Lech and Zürs in a day (Lech Zürs). A day on the St. Anton side, with its powder slopes below the Valluga, is part of the same holiday rather than a separate trip.

The 2026/27 season is scheduled from Wednesday, December 2, 2026 to Sunday, April 18, 2027, with limited operation possible at either end (Ski Arlberg). The Arlberg averages about 9 m of natural snow a season (Ski Arlberg).

What most planners miss: Lech Zürs limits how many people ski it. When the limit is reached, short term tickets for Lech Zürs are sold out and passes with restricted validity are sold in St. Anton, Stuben, Warth Schröcken and Sonnenkopf instead (Ski Arlberg). It is the reason the slopes stay calm, and the reason we build passes into the plan, so nobody is deciding at a ticket window on a busy morning.

Zurich is 200 km away, with a daily Arlberg Express transfer bus to Lech in winter, and Innsbruck is 110 km (Lech Zürs). The road comes over the Flexen Pass and through the Flexen gallery (Ski Arlberg).

By rail, the nearest stations are Langen am Arlberg, 17 km from Lech, and St. Anton, 20 km away, both with buses and taxis to the village (Lech Zürs). We arrange the transfer from whichever airport or station your journey ends at, and private charter when the schedule calls for it.

Lech, at 1,444 m, is the village by the river, with the most to do in the evening. Oberlech sits above it on the slopes, quiet and close to the snow. Zürs, at 1,717 m (Lech Zürs), is smaller and higher, for groups who want the mountain at the door.
